Rodrigo A. Gallardo is a researcher working at the intersection of computational design, human–computer interaction, spatial computing, and haptic/AR interfaces. He is a John Haymaker Fellow and Steve Jobs Archive Fellow at MIT, where he is a graduate student in Design Computation and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS). His research focuses on multimodal guidance systems that combine vision-language models, AR headsets, and wearable haptics to support complex spatial tasks in fabrication, assembly, and learning, as well as AI-driven analysis of movement for skatepark and urban-space design.
