VR Hercules Aqueduct
This project focused on reconstructing and visualizing different aqueduct sites in Querétaro, Mexico, as a way to explore new modes of interaction with the city. The aqueducts were treated as a design framework for reimagining how people engage with these spaces.
To design effectively within the arches, we first needed to understand their spatial scale. For this, we developed a VR experience that visualizes three distinct conditions, low-, medium-, and high-height spaces, using custom 3D models, spatialized audio, and carefully placed architectural drawings within the virtual environment. The VR prototype was built in Unreal Engine and deployed on a Meta Quest 4 headset, enabling real-time, full-scale exploration of these spatial configurations.
